Travis Bach

Originally from Northern BC, I've spent the last 26 years living throughout Vancouver Island in communities like Victoria, Port Alberni, and now the past 23 years in Nanaimo, while working extensively across the entire Mid-Island region from Victoria to Courtenay-Comox and just about every pocket in between.

What I've always enjoyed most is understanding the differences between communities and helping clients figure out where they truly fit. Nanaimo changes dramatically from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, sometimes even street to street, and choosing the right area often matters more than choosing the perfect house.

Over the years, I've increasingly specialized in helping families, remote workers, and relocation buyers transition to Nanaimo and Vancouver Island. Many of the people I work with are moving from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland and want to understand the realities of living here beyond the listing photos.

That's why I take such a lifestyle-focused approach.

Whether someone is buying remotely or making multiple trips over from the Mainland or Alberta, I enjoy walking them through different communities, explaining the tradeoffs between areas, and providing a realistic picture of life on the Island. I regularly work with relocation buyers through virtual showings, neighbourhood walkthroughs, video tours, and practical local guidance so they can feel confident before making the move.

Real estate can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you're relocating, and I enjoy simplifying the process, explaining the tradeoffs between different areas, and giving people the information they need to make confident decisions.

In my downtime, you'll usually find me mountain biking, spending time with my family, hitting the trails with my two black labs, Tuula and Revi, or spending time along the rugged West Coast.

After spending more than two decades on Vancouver Island, I still enjoy showing people around and helping them discover parts of the Island they may not have considered.

Moving here is about a lot more than finding a house. It's about finding a community, a lifestyle, and a place that feels like home. Helping people find the right fit is still one of my favourite parts of what I do.
